Ancient Village on the Borgallo Road
Located on the Borgallo Road, which once connected the Val di Taro with Lunigiana, the village of Cervara is part of the unspoiled Valle del Verde. From here, easy trails lead to two natural wonders of our land: Verde Lake and the Farfarà Waterfall.
Characteristic of the village of Cervara are the faciòn, apotropaic sculptures representing human heads, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. These stone carvings are placed above the doorways of houses.
