Late 19th century Mill
The “Mulini di marzo” are a series of magnificent stone farmhouses with a large water mill dating back to the end of the19th century and they are situated in the Comune di Bagnone. They are part of a private property which includes 4 hectares of beautiful meadows and picturesque woods.
Access to the river is allowed.
How to reach the Mills of March
Once in Bagnone, go straight to the end of the village and cross the bridge, turn left following the signs for the”sports field”. At the crossroads turn left still following the signs for the “sports field”. At the roundabout, take the first exit, signposted “Corlaga”, follow the one-way road and after the left bend, park on the right. You will find a wooden sign with the indication “Mulini di marzo” and a gate.
Go past the gate (it is a public path), remember to close the gate, go down the dirt road on the right, until you reach the river. If you take the road on the left you will reach the medieval bridge which leads to the mills.
Difficulty level: hiking. Pay attention on the trail that leads to the river.
Time: 2 minutes.
Recommended period: all year round.
