Bagnone Route
Leaving the municipality of Filattiera, continue on the road of the tree-lined avenue. Take the first left under the railway bridge (signs indicating Bagnone) and continue pedalling until you enter the municipality of Bagnone.
On the road, continue until you reach the entrance arches of the Borgo di Bagnone, you will be wonderfully surprised by the view: located right on the main square of the village you will see the ancient Castle of Bagnone at the top and the waterfalls of the Bagnone Torrent.
Continue through the medieval village of Bagnone and cross the bridge over the stream of the same name. Follow the brown signpost of the Ciclovia dei Castelli (Route of the Castles) and move to the left side of the Bagnone stream, to quickly descend to the end of the village.
Once you arrive at the end of the Bagnone route you will enter the village of Virgoletta. From here begins the route of the Ciclovia which is part of the municipality of Villafranca in Lunigiana.
